Mitragyna

Mitragyna Speciosa is the scientific name for a tropical evergreen tree native to Southeast Asia. Commonly known as Kratom, it is a distant relative of the coffee tree(both family Rubiaceae). It has a long history of use in traditional medicines by the indigenous peoples throughout the region.
